Fees
Session fees may vary according to your referral type. Please inquire via Contact below.
Eastside Counselling Psychology is a registered Medicare, SIRA WorkCover, NDIS and Victim Services provider. Please make sure to specify your referral type and send thorough relevant documents before the session (e.g. Certificate of Competencies for WorkCover, NDIS specifications, Victim Services approval letter)
Accounts:
All accounts must be settled at the time of the consultation via direct deposit or credit card unless prior arrangements have been made for an alternative funding source (e.g. WorkCover, NDIS or Victim Services)
A Medicare rebate for each session is available ($90.95) with a valid mental health care plan (MHCP). To be eligible to receive a rebate for psychological services under Medicare, you must be referred by your GP or psychiatrist. Medicare rebates will be processed at the time of payment and are usually in your Medicare-linked bank account within 24hrs.
- Some private health insurers cover psychological service in their extras packages. Contact your private health insurer for further information regarding rebate of psychological consultations.
- To be eligible to access services under CTP or WorkCover, you must be referred by your GP under CTP or WorkCover. There is no out of pocket expense for CTP or WorkCover services and these payments are processed by us, however we must have the referral paperwork prior to your first session.
- To be eligible to access services under NDIS you must have a valid NDIS number and appropriate support entitlements. If you would like Eastside Counselling Psychology to directly bill your insurer, paperwork authorising this arrangement must be provided prior to the service.
- If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please let us know as it may be possible to arrange some fee reduction at the discretion of Eastside Counselling Psychology.
If you have a query regarding the fee please do not hesitate to enquire via Contact.
