Communication
You may receive text message reminder and receipts of payment, and email invoices and general correspondence. If you wish to opt out from text and email reminders and receipts, please inform us. We cannot guarantee the reliability of our reminder services and as such, you are responsible for attending your scheduled appointment times irrespective of receiving a reminder. If you are unsure about an agreed appointment time, feel free to call or text to confirm.
*Communication outside of therapy sessions*
Please be mindful to keep contact, via both phone and email, focused only on scheduling or rescheduling appointments or other administrative needs. If we receive an email or text message from you of a personal nature, we will not respond, as we do not believe writing is a therapeutic way of communicating with your psychologist. Instead, we recommend organising an appointment with your psychologist at your earliest convenience to discuss in detail your concerns.
We do not attend to call, texts or emails outside of business hours. Please use emails primarily as a form of communication regarding appointments or queries. Emails are checked periodically throughout business hours and we strive to respond within 24 hours. Alternatively, you may text or leave a message on our phone, although it is not as closely monitored as emails. We will respond within 48 hours (during business hours).
