Meet Kaoru
I am a Sydney-based registered psychologist and a psychotherapist/counsellor. I was born in Japan and spent my early years there, but since age 13 I have lived in various parts of the world including Singapore, Newcastle and Sydney. I am fluent in English and in Japanese, and I offer individual and couples sessions in both English and Japanese.
With 16 years of experience as a psychotherapist in Sydney, I now integrate psychology and psychotherapy in my mindful, compassionate and evidence-based approaches tailored to suit your needs. I am particularly passionate about providing trauma-informed care in a warm and a safe environment to both English or Japanese-speaking clients.
